Senior financial and real estate executive James (Jim) Kasim has over two decades of leadership experience. A CPA, James Kasim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
AICPA was founded in 1887 and represents the CPA profession nationally in the areas of standard-setting and rule-making. The organization advocates the CPA profession before various audiences such as public interest groups and legislative bodies. Its creation led to the accountancy profession’s coming to be known for its demanding educational prerequisites, uncompromising code of ethics, and requirement of licensure.
On May 3-5, 2017, AICPA will hold its 2017 CFO Conference at the JW Marriott Desert Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The event will concentrate on the significant changes influencing the current environment, share views on what the future will be like, and explore how the CFO can respond through enhanced strategic decisions.
Every session will be from the perspective of the CFO including forecasts on leadership, politics, and economics. Other slated topics include what is emerging in strategic planning, tax reform, and cloud operations. Encouraged to attend are CFOs, CEOs, corporate leaders, investment bankers, chief audit executives, attorneys, firm partners and leaders, and other related professionals.
